Last night I had the privilege of being interviewed on live radio by “Carol the Coach“. Carol Juergensen Sheets LCSW, PCC, CSAT is a psychotherapist who hosts the informative show called “Sexual Addiction: Strength/Hope/Recovery“. Carol invited me to join her on her show after hearing about my work through my friends at Porn Proof Kids.
I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my experience and expertise. I had the opportunity to share about the LifeSTAR Network and programs. We also talked about the SATP certification program that I graduated from and will be teaching in starting this fall. The remainder of the interview was about seeing sexual addiction and recovery from an attachment perspective. I provided several time-tested tools and exercises for both addicts and partners, aimed at deepening attachment with self, others, and one’s Higher Power.
It is my hope that listeners will see connection as a core component of the recovery journey and feel empowered and equipped to make simple changes in this area that have a lasting impact. In my experience, letting go of addiction and replacing it with connection is one of the most satisfying experiences life has to offer.

Thank you for listening and for sharing with others!
*Note: Carol the Coach referred to me as an “attachment specialist”. To clarify, I have a good understanding of attachment but do not have specific training in this area, beyond my sexual addiction certification which was attachment focused.
